Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Kredo app and this website. By using Kredo you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kredo.
Questions: support@getkredo.app.
01 Who provides Kredo
Kredo is provided by Akkram Bederi ("Kredo", "we", "us"). In these terms, "you" means the person using the Kredo app or this website.
You can reach us at support@getkredo.app for support, billing questions, complaints, or anything about these terms. This is the same address used for privacy requests under the Privacy Policy.
02 What Kredo is
Kredo is an independent iPhone application that helps you keep track of credit cards issued in the Philippines: the cards you own, their published benefits, promos that may apply to them, and the balances, statement dates, and due dates you choose to record on your device. It is informational and organizational software for credit card management and discovery.
03 What Kredo is not
Kredo does not represent any bank, issuer, card network, or merchant unless an explicit partnership is separately disclosed in the app or on this site.
Nothing in Kredo is financial, tax, legal, investment, or credit advice, and nothing in Kredo creates any relationship between you and a card issuer.
04 No affiliation with issuers
Kredo is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by any bank, card issuer, card network, or merchant, unless a specific relationship is expressly stated in the app or on this site.
Third-party names, card names, logos, trademarks, and other identifiers that appear in Kredo remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products, issuers, merchants, or offers being discussed. Their appearance does not imply certification, endorsement, or approval by their owners.
05 Card and promo information
Kredo's catalog of card benefits and promos is compiled from published sources, including issuer sources where available. We work to keep it accurate, but:
- Kredo does not guarantee that every item is complete, current, accurate, available, or applicable to a particular transaction.
- Eligibility for any offer is determined by the issuer or merchant, never by Kredo. Kredo showing an offer is not a confirmation that you qualify for it, that it is still running, or that it will be honoured.
- The issuer's or merchant's official terms and final determination control.
Before acting on information that could cause you to incur a fee, miss a payment, apply for credit, make a purchase, or expect a reward or discount, verify the material terms directly with the issuer or merchant — including anything about fees, interest, rewards, minimum spend, promo periods, statement and due dates, and payment amounts.
06 Ask Kredo and recommendations
Information provided by Kredo — including Ask Kredo responses, rankings, comparisons, estimated rewards, promo matches, and other automated outputs — is provided for general informational purposes only.
Kredo does not provide individualized financial, legal, tax, investment, or credit advice, and does not act as your fiduciary, financial adviser, agent, or representative. Kredo does not assess affordability or creditworthiness and does not take account of your full financial circumstances.
Where Kredo identifies a "Best Card" for a purchase, that is an informational comparison produced from the card and promo data Kredo holds and the context you supplied in the request. It is not a statement that the card is the best financial choice for you, not a recommendation to apply for or use any credit product, and not a guarantee of any reward, discount, or outcome. Kredo tells you what a ranking did and did not weigh; anything it could not weigh is stated with the result.
AI-generated answers can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to use a credit card, and for evaluating your ability to repay any amount you charge.
07 Your account
Some features require an account, created by email one-time code, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter these terms. Kredo is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.
You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and device secure, since those are what control access to Kredo. Kredo accounts are for your personal use.
How Kredo handles the information tied to your account is described in the Privacy Policy.
08 Information you enter
Kredo does not verify user-entered balances, credit limits, payment amounts, statement dates, due dates, or transaction information against the issuer. Kredo has no connection to your bank and no way to check what you typed. You are responsible for keeping information you rely on accurate and current.
Figures Kredo displays — available credit, utilization, statement totals, amounts outstanding — are calculated from what you entered and may not match your issuer's records.
09 Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your cards, and keep it current if you want Kredo's views to be useful.
- Make your own payment decisions and pay your issuers on time.
- Verify offers and terms with the issuer or merchant before relying on them.
- Use Kredo in compliance with applicable law and with your card agreements.
- Do not enter full card numbers, security codes, PINs, or online-banking credentials anywhere in Kredo. Kredo never asks for them and has no use for them.
10 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access or attempt to access another user's account or data;
- probe, scan, or interfere with Kredo's systems, or bypass authentication, rate limits, or other technical protections;
- scrape, bulk-extract, resell, or redistribute Kredo's catalog, promo data, or AI outputs;
- use Kredo to build a competing dataset or service;
- upload unlawful content, or content you do not have the right to submit;
- use Kredo for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive, or in a way that degrades the service for others;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app except to the extent applicable law does not permit that restriction.
11 Kredo Pro and subscriptions
Kredo may offer paid features under a subscription called Kredo Pro, which unlocks Ask Kredo, Best Card recommendations, and advanced spending insights. Free features remain available without a subscription and remain subject to these terms.
Where a subscription is offered:
- Apple sells and bills it, not Kredo. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; Kredo never receives or stores your payment card details.
- Price and billing period. Kredo Pro is offered on recurring billing periods. Prices are set per App Store storefront and can change, so they are not printed here. The current price, billing period, and any introductory or free-trial terms displayed by Apple's purchase sheet at the time you subscribe are what control your purchase. The app shows the same price and period, taken from Apple at runtime, before you confirm.
- Free trials. A free trial is offered only where Apple reports that your Apple ID is eligible for one, and its length is shown on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm. If no trial is shown, none applies. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews into a paid period.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- How to cancel. Cancel any time on your iPhone under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep access until then. Kredo cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you.
- Deleting Kredo does not cancel a subscription. Removing the app or deleting your Kredo account leaves an active App Store subscription running. Cancel it through Apple as described above.
- Refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from and processed by Apple under Apple's terms. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves. If you believe you were charged in error, write to support@getkredo.app and we will help you raise it with Apple.
- Changes to a paid tier. We may change what is included in a paid tier, or its price, going forward. Changes do not alter a period you have already paid for, and a price change applies only from your next renewal.
A subscription entitlement belongs to the Apple ID that bought it, not to your Kredo account. You can use Kredo Pro without a Kredo account, and signing out of Kredo does not cancel or transfer a subscription.
12 Intellectual property
Kredo, including the app, this website, its design, its content, and its compiled card and promo catalog, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Kredo for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms. No other rights are granted.
The information you enter — your cards, values, notes, and transactions — remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store, process, and transmit that information to provide the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
13 Availability and changes
Kredo is provided on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, the catalog, or the service as a whole, and we may impose limits on use. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, and some features depend on third-party infrastructure that can fail or be withdrawn. Where a change is material and we can reasonably give notice, we will.
14 Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kredo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Without limiting that: we do not warrant that card benefits, fees, promos, eligibility rules, rates, dates, or AI-generated answers shown in Kredo are accurate, complete, current, or applicable to you, and we do not warrant that reminders will be delivered on time or at all.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. See section 16.
15 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of Kredo.
In particular, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for: interest, late fees, penalty charges, finance charges, or credit consequences arising from a missed or late payment; a reward, discount, rebate, or promo you did not receive or did not qualify for; a decision you made in reliance on information or an AI answer in Kredo; a reminder that was delayed or not delivered; an interruption of the service; or the acts, terms, or decisions of any card issuer or merchant.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to Kredo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Kredo in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 50.
16 Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable Philippine law, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines and other applicable consumer-protection legislation and regulations.
Where any provision of these terms conflicts with such a right, that right prevails and the conflicting provision applies only to the extent the law permits.
17 Termination and account deletion
You may stop using Kredo at any time, and you can delete your account from inside the app under Privacy & Data → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent: it removes your Kredo account and the card records, saved promos, AI settings, and analytics events stored with it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — see section 11.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we are required to by law. Where we can reasonably do so, we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, consumer rights, and governing law — do survive.
18 Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to your use of Kredo, are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights or remedies that apply to you. You and Kredo submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines for any dispute that is not resolved directly.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you may contact support@getkredo.app so we have an opportunity to address the issue. Most issues are resolved faster that way. This is an invitation, not a precondition: it does not prevent you from exercising any statutory right or from bringing a complaint to a regulator or court at any time.
19 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Kredo changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Kredo after that means you accept the updated terms.
Changes to how we process your personal data are handled separately and more strictly — see "Changes to this policy" in the Privacy Policy.
