Perkfolio Privacy Policy

01 Who Is Responsible

Perkfolio is operated by Akkram Bederi. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@getkredo.app.

Perkfolio processes personal data in accordance with applicable Philippine data-protection law, including Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

02 About Perkfolio

Perkfolio is an independent app for keeping track of credit cards issued in the Philippines. It is not a bank, a lender, or a payment processor, and it does not connect to your bank accounts. It never signs in to your online banking and cannot move money, make payments, or read your account with a bank.

03 No Accounts

Perkfolio has no sign-up, no sign-in and no user accounts. There is no email address, name, password or user ID for Perkfolio to hold, because Perkfolio never asks for one.

04 What Perkfolio Never Asks For

Perkfolio does not collect full credit card numbers, security codes (CVV), card PINs, or online banking usernames and passwords. There is no screen that asks for them. Please do not type them into card nicknames or notes.

05 What Stays On Your iPhone

Everything you put into Perkfolio is stored in the app's storage on your iPhone: the cards you add and the figures you track for them (credit limit, balances, statement and due dates, amounts paid), the purchases and payments you log, statements you import, the promos you save, and your settings. Perkfolio's servers hold no copy of any of it.

Statement import reads the file on your iPhone. The statement never leaves your device.

06 Your iCloud Backup

With Perkfolio Pro, and when your iPhone is signed in to iCloud, Perkfolio backs up the information above to your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), so it survives a reinstall or a new iPhone. Restoring a backup you already have works with or without Perkfolio Pro. That backup is stored by Apple under your Apple ID. Perkfolio — the developer — cannot see, read or access it. You can back up, restore, or delete it in the app at any time (Account → iCloud Backup, and Privacy & Data → Erase All Perkfolio Data). Without Perkfolio Pro, or with iCloud off, nothing is backed up and Perkfolio otherwise works the same.

Like any app data, Perkfolio's files are also included in your iPhone's own device backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you have that turned on.

07 What Perkfolio Downloads

The card catalog and the promos list are public information that Perkfolio downloads from its server (hosted by Supabase in Singapore) and keeps on your iPhone so they work offline. These requests carry no account, no identifier and nothing you entered — every copy of Perkfolio receives the same catalog.

Promos Near Me: when you open the map, Perkfolio asks its server for promo locations inside the map area you are looking at. That request contains only the edges of the visible map area. Your location, if you allow it, is used on your iPhone to center the map and measure distances; it is not sent on its own, not stored, and not linked to you.

Like any internet service, our hosting provider's servers record ordinary technical information about requests — such as IP address, time and errors — to keep the service running and secure. Perkfolio does not use these logs to identify or profile anyone.

08 No Analytics, No Advertising, No Tracking

Perkfolio contains no analytics, attribution or advertising SDK and sends no usage events. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share information.

09 No Artificial Intelligence

Perkfolio has no AI features. Nothing you enter is sent to any AI model provider.

10 Purchases

Perkfolio Pro is sold and billed by Apple. Perkfolio never receives your payment details. Whether you have Perkfolio Pro is read on your iPhone from the App Store; Perkfolio does not send your purchase to its own server.

11 Notifications

Payment reminders are scheduled locally by iOS using the dates you entered. They are not sent from a server.

12 Opening Directions

If you ask for directions to a merchant, Perkfolio opens Apple Maps or Google Maps with that merchant's address. What happens next is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

13 Deleting Your Data

Go to Account → Privacy & Data → Erase All Perkfolio Data. This erases everything Perkfolio holds on your iPhone and deletes your Perkfolio backup from iCloud. Deleting the app also removes everything on the iPhone. Neither cancels a Perkfolio Pro subscription: Apple bills that to your Apple ID — cancel it in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

14 Your Rights

If Philippine data-protection law applies to you, you have rights including to be informed, to access, to correct, and to erase your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). Because Perkfolio holds your information only on your own iPhone and in your own iCloud, you can see, edit and erase all of it yourself in the app. For any question, write to support@getkredo.app.

15 Children

Perkfolio is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.

16 Changes To This Policy

If Perkfolio ever starts sending or storing information about you, this policy will be updated and you will be told in the app before the change takes effect.
