Walkie Support

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Walkie is a walking buddy for Android and iPhone: your steps from Health Connect or Apple Health move Gohan along the Journey, and your walkie gets dressed with what you earn.

Need a hand? Email support@getkredo.app. In the app, Menu › Report issue fills in your app version and device for you. We usually reply within two working days.

01 My steps are not showing

Walkie never counts steps itself; it reads them from your phone's health store.

Android

Walkie reads steps from Health Connect. In Walkie, Menu › Your data › Health data opens Health Connect; check that Walkie is allowed to read Steps. If Health Connect shows no steps either, the app that records them (for example Google Fit, Samsung Health or Fitbit) has to be connected to Health Connect in that app's settings. On Android 13 and older, Health Connect is a separate app from Google Play and must be installed and up to date. Walkie updates your steps when you open it and, if you allow background access in Health Connect, about every 15 minutes while it is closed. Steps from a watch arrive once the watch syncs to your phone, so a short delay is normal.

iPhone

Walkie reads steps from Apple Health. Open the Settings app › Health › Data Access & Devices › Walkie and turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance. Steps recorded by an Apple Watch reach your iPhone when the watch syncs, so a short delay is normal.

02 Backing up and moving to a new phone

Walkie starts without a sign-in: your walkie lives on an account made for that install. To keep it safe, back it up from Menu › Your data.

  • Android: tap Continue with Google. On a new phone, install Walkie and back up with the same Google account from the same screen: your coins, diamonds, closet and friends come back.
  • iPhone: back up with Apple. On a new phone, install Walkie and sign in with the same Apple ID from the same screen.

On Android, a walkie that isn't backed up is lost if you uninstall Walkie, clear its data or reset the phone: there is nothing on the device to bring it back, so back up before you do any of those. For now, a backup made on Android can't be restored on iPhone, or the other way round.

03 Diamonds and restoring purchases

Diamonds are added as soon as Google Play or Apple confirms the purchase and our server has checked it. If a purchase was charged but no diamonds arrived, reopen Walkie while online; it finishes any purchase the store has confirmed.

  • Android: Walkie checks your Google Play purchases each time it starts, so a Walkie Pro subscription comes back on its own when you open Walkie with the same Google account signed in to the Play Store. You can also tap Restore on the Walkie Pro screen. If a payment is still pending in Google Play, the diamonds arrive once it goes through.
  • iPhone: Walkie Pro can be restored from Shop › Pro › Restore Purchases.

If something still looks wrong, email us with the date of the purchase and, on Android, the order number from your Google Play receipt.

04 Managing or cancelling Walkie Pro

Walkie Pro renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

  • Android: open the Google Play Store › your profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Walkie, or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google, from your Google Play order history.
  • iPhone: cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions › Walkie. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting Walkie or your account does not cancel a subscription.

05 Friends, blocking and reporting

You can remove, block or report any walker from their profile in the Social tab. A blocked walker can't send you friend requests or race invites. Reports come to our team and are reviewed by a person.

06 Notifications

Walkie sends a few gentle reminders and your friends' race updates.

  • Android: choose which ones you get in Menu › Notifications. On Android 13 and newer, Walkie also needs the phone's permission to notify you: if nothing arrives, open the Settings app › Apps › Walkie › Notifications and turn them on. A restricted battery setting for Walkie can delay them.
  • iPhone: turn them on or off in Menu › Preferences, or in the Settings app › Notifications › Walkie.

07 Deleting your walkie and data

On Android and iPhone, Menu › Your data › Delete my walkie and data removes your account and everything stored on our servers, and on iPhone revokes a linked Sign in with Apple. It can't be undone. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.
